Charter Conveyancing’s Director Brad Mifsud was admitted to the Supreme Court of Queensland as a solicitor in 2003, Brad has worked in private legal practices, in government positions and as a mortgage broker with a national real estate franchise.
After helping countless clients fund their home purchases, Brad realised the significance of buying and selling a home, both for his clients and for the other people involved in the transactions. Even though buying or selling property is a major event for most people, Brad noticed the conveyancing service in most law firms was an afterthought or add-on, and treated as such by most solicitors at the practices he dealt with as a mortgage broker. Brad noticed the treatment of conveyancing and property law could be significantly improved and wanted to handle it better because the real estate market is a key driver for the Australian economy with huge personal importance to most of us.
Brad opened Charter Conveyancing in 2007 to deliver superior conveyancing services to property owners. He wanted to provide an efficient, professional conveyancing service and give his clients the time, care and attention such a life-changing event deserves. Since then the Charter Conveyancing team has grown to meet demand from our clients. We’ve now handled thousands of successful property transactions and offer a range of legal services, although conveyancing is still, and always will be, our main focus.
Brad is married and a proud father to four lively young children. When he’s not overseeing the Charter Conveyancing team he loves exercising with his kids and spending time in the great outdoors. He regularly heads off on camping trips with his young family and friends to secret spots up and down the coast of Queensland and northern New South Wales. If you can keep a secret he might even share some of his favourite camping spots with you!
